Slate Accelerator was built around experience. Decades of it. On both sides of the executive hiring process.

Gary Kastenbaum founded Slate Accelerator after a career spent learning the same lesson from two different vantage points.

First, as an HR executive — as CHRO at KPMG Consulting and in senior leadership roles at BASF and Abbott Laboratories — he understood what C-suite leadership truly demands from the inside.

Then, over years of executive search, he saw firsthand how the industry consistently underutilized one of its greatest assets: the deep pool of exceptional, already-vetted executives that every retained search leaves behind.
